The Rutgers Democracy Lab (RDL) at the Eagleton Institute of Politics is proud to announce the inaugural Solving Grand Challenges Month, taking place in April 2026. This university-wide initiative invites schools, departments, institutes, and centers across Rutgers University to host dynamic programs that explore innovative solutions to pressing democratic challenges.

All events will align with RDL’s inaugural theme: Inspiring Democratic Engagement

We encourage proposals that foster interdisciplinary collaboration and civic innovation through immersive experiences and solution-oriented programming.

Events that generate feasible solutions may be considered for future funding to support their implementation!
