Undergraduate Associates learn from faculty experts, policymakers, public leaders, and professionals shaping government, politics and public life and build career networks through a three-semester course series and program events, Rutgers juniors selected for the cohort complete a public service internship to see how policy, advocacy, government and power work in practice, and experience a Legislative Day at the NJ State House. UAs receive a $3,000 stipend and 9-credits through this official Rutgers certificate program.
Eligibility
Rutgers juniors with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher from all campus locations, schools, and majors are eligible to apply. Eligible applicants must be graduating in May or December 2028. Transfer and international students are eligible to apply.
